This is a wonderful house for a relaxing stay or to get out and about in nature throughout the year. We stayed when it was in the 60s-70s in December and throughly enjoyed ourselves hiking in the surrounding National Forests or closer surrounding parks, cooking meals at home, and playing games or watching movies at night.
I’ve stayed at various Airbnbs around the country and the kitchen was stocked with various cook wear better than any location that I can recall. I definitely appreciated this – this is not just a location they rent out, but it’s their home too.
While we did not need to use the space for work, it also presented as a fabulous location for a person that needs to work while on the road or would like to get away to do some writing or reflection.
More than anything, that porch and deck are what lake house dreams are made of.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tigua’s Sunrise (April 16-20). I had read the glowing reviews before we booked, but I still wasn’t prepared for exactly how cute and truly pet friendly the place would be! The hosts really have thought of everything from extra slip leads to fire starter for the fire pit. There were books in every genre and games for all ages. The hosts were very responsive to our questions pre-booking and while we were at the property! We will most definitely return with our pups in the future!

Highly sought after lake location with clean water and little boat traffic. Great fishing location!

Fish, kayak, grill, private deck and dock, covered porch, WiFi/RoKu, games, ample parking, pet-friendly w/fenced yard. Fish for monster bass darting through deep water shadows as majestic egrets stalk the sandy shallows. Kayak with turtles along the rocky shoreline then relax on the spacious porch with a cocktail and games at sundown. BYO boat!
